Germany has the world’s sixth largest bathroom products market – and the largest in Europe – according to Euromonitor, with a total value of US$1.6bn in 2014. Looking at the category more closely, industry association IKW places the bath and shower sector at €843m, representing an increase of 1.1% in 2014, while soaps and syndets, on the other hand, dropped 1.1% to €354m.
