British consumers use more than 200 plastic hair care bottles per year, a new report suggests.

A study of 2,000 shoppers found that the average household will go through 216 hair-related plastic bottles, including shampoo, conditioner, hairspray, hair gel and heat protector.

The research was carried out by Swiss beauty tech firm Réduit, which warns
