The male grooming brand’s latest addition is said to feature a lubrication strip enriched with baobab oil to protect and soothe skin

Male grooming brand Bulldog has extended its line of eco-friendly razors with a new addition specifically designed for sensitive skin.

The Sensitive Bamboo Razor (£12) is said to feature a lubrication strip enriched with baobab oil to protect and soothe skin, complete with five steel blades and a pivot design.

According to the brand, baobab oil is ideal to use on sensitive skin due to its moisturising properties.

The Africa-native oil is also well known for its regenerative and healing abilities thanks to its blend of vitamins A, B and C.

Bulldog first entered the shaving category in 2018 with its debut bamboo razor launch.

Speaking to Cosmetics Business at the time, Simon Duffy, Bulldog’s founder and CEO said the team wanted to disrupt the “tired conventions in the shaving category”.

He said: “From our perspective all this plastic is really frustrating and unnecessary.

“When you look at the positive changes taking place in so many other industries, this is an area where the razor and blades category feels very old fashioned.

“I hope it provokes debate at the bigger brands about the amount of plastic inherent in their current processes.”

The latest product is available from Boots and Sainsbury’s stores across the UK, as well as bulldogskincare.com.
