The flacon for Signature comes with a removable wooden frame, which has been eco-designed

The packaging for Signature, the new fragrance from Oriflame Sweden, is taking ‘reuse’ to a photogenic new level.

For Signature, a project using traditional ingredients and extraction techniques, design agency Butterfly Cannon created a faceted glass bottle enclosed within a sleek wooden frame, which is designed to be removed and reused as a photo frame for pictures of family and friends.

Linking to the theme of connecting to those closest to you, the his and hers bottles and outer packs feature complementary embossed and debossed panels to allow them to nestle into each other.

To match Oriflame’s sustainability values, the wooden frame was responsibly sourced and designed for friction fit without glue or magnets.

While a different size, the his and hers bottles are designed to fit within a common frame and pack size, allowing for resource savings in tooling and production.

A central theme of the brand, said Butterfly Cannon, is the idea of longevity and generations working together for the future; the brand mark encapsulates this duality via the interconnection of traditional serif and contemporary sans serif typefaces.
