The 19th edition of China Beauty Expo will run from 7-9 May in Shanghai


The 2014 China Cosmetic Brand Alliance Forum is taking place in May at Hua Ting Hotels & Towers. The Forum gathers many business leaders and tycoons from the cosmetic and beauty industry, who give their opinions on the rapidly-changing industry environment and establish the long-term and extensive communication channels with one another. Through discussions on the industry future, they try to find more effective ways to develop the cosmetics market.

Join hand with INFORMA to develop the World-Leading Expo

The 19th edition of China Beauty Expo is the first session ever held after the show joined venture with INFORMA. The whole industry has great expectations for it. During the Summit, Mr. SANG Jingmin, Chairman of CBE Organising Committee, introduced the grand size of the 19th CBE Shanghai to be held between 7-9 May 2014. A new exhibition hall will be added, reaching 128,000sqm. Among 30 product categories in three exhibitions, 205 leading brands are selected out of the 1,600 exhibitors from 20 countries and regions. These figures reveal the vitality of China Beauty Expo. “The Organising Committee drafts the first business operation standard for cosmetic retail shops, establishes the business alliance covering 30 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions and about to reach prefecture-level cities until a multi-level buyer network is established in China.” said Chairman Sang Jingmin, “We will make clients’ needs the priority and driving force of our strategy. We will act to every change in the target market in order to adapt our services and meet the demands between the exhibitors and buyers”. By abandoning the superficial slogans and focusing on practical service, China Beauty Expo has been working hard to achieve what it has become now.

China Cosmetics Retail Summit

The China Cosmetics Retail Summit, which will be held on 6 May 2014, has gained great attention. The Summit is the sole top platform of exchanges in the China cosmetics industry and cosmetics merchandise industry. Each year, the top dealers and retailers of high quality beauty, hairdressing and cosmetics products coming from all parts of China will attend the Summit. They will identify the driving force to stimulate the growth of cosmetics retail, push forward channels of cosmetic franchising and healthy and sustainable development of the whole industry.

Meiyi Award

Meiyi Award, known as the “Chinese award with greatest value in the industry” is a cosmetics award established by CBE Shanghai and C2CC website. Today marks the beginning of the award selection. The businesses of skincare, make-up and perfumes - including Shiseido, JALA and OLEVA - are now competing for the Meiyi Award 2014. The competition provides a platform for brands owners to display their products in terms of technology, innovation and fashion. The video clip for this award shows participants the essence of the competition among famous brands. On the Forum, CBE Organising Committee granted certificates to the live broadcasting media and Meiyi Award specialists.

China Festival

The Organising Committee will also launch the special event known as the 3rd China Color Cosmetics and Fragrance Festival. The mainstream fashion mass media will focus on the event. Max Factor, Maybelline New York, Flamingo and other famous imported makeup brands, Mont blanc, Nina Ricci, Saint Melin and other renowned imported perfume brands are expected to organise many exciting activities such as launch of new makeup and perfume products, display of cosmetics, model show and lottery, etc. Because of the popularity of facial masks, the Organizing Committee of CBE fully understands the consumers’ expectations and will join hands with Magic Fresh Face to organise the Second Festival of China Facial Masks. Beauty & Fashion

The high-end and fashionable BEAUTY SHANGHAI exhibition covers three large halls E2/E3/E4 on the 19th CBE. The professional product lines brought by businesses from Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Bulgaria, Singapore, Korea, Thailand, Taiwan and Hong Kong will show up.The event will gather 200 famous Chinese professional line companies and their products.
