DKNY partners with Instagram artist Drawbertson for new scent

The Be Delicious City Collection aims to capture the spirit of the city girl through its packaging and scent design

DKNY has partnered with Instagram artist Donald Robertson (@Drawbertson) for the release of the Be Delicious City Collection (£39 for 50ml).

Robertson’s whimsical style has gained him more than 186k followers and collaborations with MAC, Flirt cosmetics, Conde Nast and Hearst.

He has been nominated 'Instagrammer of the Year' by the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) for his community engagement.

A father of five, Robertson cited his youngest children as his main inspiration for his style. But his current partnership with DKNY is exclusively available at The Perfume Shop and aims to ‘celebrate the lifestyle of the city girl’.

“I have loved DKNY since I first saw that iconic shot of the girl and guy walking down Madison Avenue carrying surfboards. It made me love for life," Robertson said.

"A very groovy girl from the digital side at DKNY asked me to help them with a new APPLE FRAGRANCE ‘jazzer upper’ refresh. I said sure! I drew up some sketches that they liked from my @drawbertson Instagram and here we are!"

The three fragrances within the new collection are inspired by various New York City neighbourhoods: Chelsea, Brooklyn and Nolita.
