Beauty brand has upcycled wonky and misshapen trees for a Christmas they will never fir-get

Developing a pine new way to tackle Christmas tree waste is refill deodorant brand Fussy.

Wonky Christmas trees, those that are the wrong shape, or with misshapen branches have been upcycled by the brand to create its new deodorant scent.

The new fragrance has been possible thanks to a partnership with a Norfolk, UK-based tree wholesaler and essential oil distiller.

Fussy then distilled the trees that did not make the cut for the festive celebrations this year.

“We didn’t want to release just another novelty scent this Christmas but to make an actual difference,” said CEO and co-founder of Fussy, Matt Kennedy.

“Plus, who doesn’t want to smell like a Christmas tree?” he added.

The brand disruptor is not the only one to have developed seasonal themed deodorant scents.

Wild, another refill deodorant brand, has developed a Toffee Apple scent for the autumnal period, combining seasonal spices with apple tones, in a nod to Halloween and bonfire night.
