The new store features beauty vending machines and virtual assistants to provide a personalised shopping experience

Singapore retail outlet Downtown Gallery has opened a Beauty Bar by property developer OUE, in what the company claims is the most digitally enhanced beauty store in the country.

The new OUE Beauty Bar uses interactive technology to create a personalised experience for visitors, with four beauty vending machines and a virtual assistant display.

Using a touchscreen display, the vending machines allow consumers to explore the store's range of more than 140 skin care and make-up products from brands including Clarins, NARS and Shiseido.

Aiming to make it easier for consumers to find what they are looking for, the vending machines also act as self-service kiosks, so they can purchase products instantly.

The machines will also offer further product suggestions as well as providing information and videos about shoppers' chosen products.

The OUE Beauty Bar vending machines will be restocked weekly, and feature a wide range of products varying in price from $30-$150.
