EU-OSHA’s Foresight project looks at new and emerging health and safety risks associated with the digitalisation of work and information technologies

The internet and digital technologies are transforming our world.

A fully functional digital single market would bring many benefits to European businesses and consumers.

It would promote innovation, contribute €415bn to the EU economy each year and create hundreds of thousands of new jobs.

Therefore, the creation of a European digital single market is one of the European Commission's top-ten priorities.

To support this, EU-OSHA looks out for risks and challenges to occupational safety and health (OSH) that are emerging as a result of changes in the workplace, which can occur at an increasingly fast pace.

An EU-OSHA foresight project is looking at the potential impact of developments in information and communication technologies (ICT) and work location.
