Estée Lauder Companies promotes Bari Seiden-Young to Senior VP

Estée Lauder Companies has promoted Bari Seiden-Young to Senior VP of Global Corporate Communications, Citizenship and Sustainability, effective immediately.

Kicking off her career with the beauty heavyweight in 2001, Seiden-Young has worked on brands including bobbi Brown, Jo Malone London and La Mer.

She has also overseen Estée Lauder Companies’ Breast Cancer Campaign and the Lauder family communications.

As part of her expanded portfolio, she is responsible for designing and executing global programmes to key global stakeholders to enhance the company’s corporate reputation.

In her new position Seiden-Young will still report to Alexandra Trower, the firm’s Executive VP for Global Communications and Nancy Mahon, Senior VP for Global Corporate Citizenship and Sustainability.

Trower said: “I am thrilled that Bari Seiden-Young will be leading our citizenship and sustainability communications.

“Bari’s expertise and deep understanding of the Estée Lauder Companies’ commitment to giving back in the communities where we live and work make her ideally suited to take on this expanded role.”

Meanwhile, Mahon added: “I look forward to partnering with Bari to continue the Estée Lauder Companies’ great work to build a more beautiful, responsible and sustainable world.”
