Feelunique seeks loyal consumers with launch of new referral programme

Online beauty retailer Feelunique has launched a new referral marketing tool with a cash incentive.

Powered by marketing service Mention Me using its SaaS technology, the strategy hopes to increase customer loyalty and help the e-tailer reach its customer acquisition target.

The tool offers customers and their friends £10 off their next beauty order by sharing Feelunique’s website.

Ben van Pelt, Marketing Manager at Feelunique, said: “We have always aimed for our brand to reflect and respond to the way that our customers want to shop, and to build an online global community of advocates.”

He continued: “Mention Me was the perfect partner for our referral programme due to its rigorous AB testing and their ‘refer by name’ functionality, a unique and simple method for customers to share our brand.”

Mention Me’s CEO Andy Cockburn added: “Feelunique’s range of products and customer demographic suits referral perfectly, especially when you consider how connected they are on social media.

“By enabling them to share the brand with their friends and be rewarded for doing so is the simplest and most trusted form of marketing there is.”

The brand currently offers a loyalty programme, MyFeelunique Platinum, which gives members 10% off its 500+ brands, 20% off on each member’s birthday, and an exclusive preview and points system.

According to Feelunique’s website, in the last six months its online service has achieved a 95% positive rating with more than 5,000 customers voting for its service as ‘good’ or ‘excellent’.
