Former Alcan Beauty director buys Soupletube

Packaging firm sold to François Beaugrand and venture capitalist consortium


French laminate and plastic tube manufacturer Soupletube has been acquired by François Beaugrand, together with venture capital fund TIM Mezzanine and Paris Orléans, a banking and investment capital business.

Beaugrand, formerly of Alcan Packaging Beauty and Veriplast Consumer Packaging will take over the management of the Soupletube group, focusing on growing its European business.

“A new phase now begins for the Soupletube Group. The arrival of a new general manager and well-known financial partners will enable to group’s speedy development throughout Europe and to reinforce its environmentally responsible growth,” commented Beaugrand.
