Frédéric Fekkai buys back hair care business

Frédéric Fekkai has announced he has acquired the Frédéric Fekkai Brands beauty and hair care business from a group of investors.

Fekkai, in partnership with private investment company Cornell Capital bought back the business, which he founded in 1996 and originally sold in 2008, from the ownership group comprised of Dilesh Mehta, Tony Bajaj, Joel Ronkin and Amy Sachs, which purchased the business in 2015.

The brand will be run by Blue Mistral, a holding company set up by Fekkai and Cornell.
