BioAktive, a supplier of plant based functional ingredients for cosmetics and personal care, has announced the appointment of Garzanti Specialties as their distributor in Italy.
Previously handled directly from BioAktive's offices in Limburgerhof Germany, all business for BioAktive's core portfolio of products will be handled by Garzanti Specialties including existing BioAktive customers.
With existing business in Italy, a healthy pipeline and strong interest in BioAktive’s core portfolio of products such as Natralite, HydraMaxx and DermaMaxx, this new partnership will allow for a stronger presence, more growth and better support in the Italian market with Garzanti Specialties holding inventory, sample stock, and offering sales and technical support for customers.

Italy is one of the top markets in Europe for personal care and cosmetics, with over 600 producers. Garzanti believes that the BioAktive portfolio will be warmly received in the Italian market.
In particular, Natralite is highly potential in Italy, as in many markets, as customers seek to find alternatives to silicones for regulatory or marketing reasons.
