Users are said to be able to achieve two ‘looks’ with the new L’Obscur product

Gucci Beauty has launched a new buildable mascara under the guidance of its Creative Director Alessandro Michele.

The new L’Obscur (US$40) is said to transfer the ideal amount of product onto lashes, which is smudge, flake and feather-proof, to fan and lengthen lashes.

Meanwhile, the thin brush is designed to ensure easy application and coat small lashes.

According to Gucci Beauty’s Global Make-up Artist Thomas de Kluyver, the product can be applied using the brush horizontally for a ‘classic look’ or vertically for a volumised finish.

The L’Obscur campaign is said to merge references from vintage Hollywood to the 80s and is modelled by Mae Lapres and Dani Miller.

The product is available in travel retail stores worldwide.
