The retail hair market took a dip, but improved on last year with lotions and and treatments on the rise
The retail hair care market in Italy took another dip in 2015, falling by 1% to €1.093bn, although this was an improvement on the previous year’s result when sales fell by 3.1%, according to Cosmetica Italia.
For consumers, the focus was on keeping the hair in good health, with sales of lotions and shock treatments rising by 4.7% and post-shampoo treatments, balsams and masks up 0.9%.
