Harvey Nichols boss Daniela Rinaldi has chosen to leave the business after 35 years to pursue a new venture.

During her time with the luxury department store chain, Rinaldi served as Group Commercial Director and most recently as its Co-Chief Operating Officer.

Commenting on her departure, Rinaldi said: “I have been lucky enough to spend my career in a fantastic organisation, where I have made lifelong friends and leave with tremendous pride in the brands, partners and businesses that I have supported and helped to create.”

Rinaldi is said to have launched a number of beauty and fashion brands over her career with the retailer.

Harvey Nichols’ Chairman Sir Dickson Poon added: “I would like to thank Daniela for her loyalty and dedication, and wish her all the best as she takes a deserved break with her family before moving on to her next career step.”

Following Rinaldi’s departure Manju Malhotra, Co-Chief Operating Officer, will continue to work with the retailer’s Executive Director Pearson Poon and its Management Board.
