JML unveils new cosmetics business division

British consumer products group JML has unveiled a new beauty division.

Despite previously selling in the category, JML Cosmetics marks the company’s official move into beauty retail.

To coincide with the business move, JML Cosmetics has launched its first product True Lips.

The lipstick is said to adjust its colour based on the user’s ph.

The development will allow JML to expand its demographic by developing a wider range of products.

CEO of JML, Ken Daly, said: “Product demonstration has always been synonymous with the JML brand, and given its importance in the cosmetic space, we see our movement into health and beauty as a natural progression for the company.”

In a bid to support the expansion and to separate the new division from the existing company, JML Cosmetics’ is planning to develop its retail and online presence.

“Innovative health and beauty products represent a huge market and one in which JML can demonstrate their track record of product development,” said CSO at JML Brian Keogh.
