The hit TV series bagged multiple awards for its gripping cat and mouse storyline

AMC Networks has landed a licensing deal with IMG for its hit TV show Killing Eve.

The agreement for the spy thriller show will cover a ‘robust’ line of consumer products across beauty, travel, games and apparel.

Experiences and collaborations will also launch based on plots from the show.

“In Killing Eve, the sharpness of the dialogue and the quality of the performances has always been matched by a strong aesthetic that informs every aspect of the series from the music to costume and production design,” said Sally Woodward Gentle, Executive Producer at Sid Gentle Films, which makes the programme.

“We look forward to collaborating with partners who understand the style and ethos of the series.”

Dario Di Zanni, Head of Franchise at AMC Networks, added: “Killing Eve is both a brilliant inspiration and canvas for all types of fan affinity, and we are excited to partner with Sid Gentle Films and IMG to expand the reach and success of such a pop culturally relevant and defining show.”

Meanwhile, Sherikay Chaffee, IMG’s VP of Licensing, said the show’s nuances of human behaviour naturally translated into licensing.

“Aside from being one of the most popular and loved shows on TV, it’s also one of the most clever and stylish,” she noted.

“The dual aspect and opposing nature between its two lead characters can be used to tell a story about a product.

“For example, the unconventional and the conventional, the good and the bad, and every degree in between.”

AMC Networks will hold the licensing rights for Killing Eve products in the US and Sid Gentle Films will cover the rest of the world.

Killing Eve garnered attention from viewers worldwide for its gripping cat and mouse storyline, while its writers and cast have bagged multiple awards.

Sandra Oh won a Golden Globe for her performance as MI5 spy Eve Polastri in the series, while Jodie Comer, who plays Russian assassin Villanelle, took home an Emmy and British Academy Television Award.
