Europe’s most valuable private fintech company Klarna has kicked off a new campaign across six UK cities.

Its No drama, just Klarna initiative includes a series of branded adverts across buses, billboards, train stations and screens in partnership with its retail partners.

Today, Klarna has teamed up with more than 100 beauty merchants, including Beauty Bay, Lookfantastic, Cult Beauty, Feelunique, The Fragrance Shop and Nails Inc.

“The growth we’ve seen since launching in the UK has been astounding, but I’m particularly proud of what we’ve been able to achieve in the last 12 months,” said Klarna UK’s General Manager, Luke Griffiths.

“Not only have we grown exponentially in terms of volumes and partners, but we’ve also grown our footprint across the UK with the launch of our Manchester office earlier this year.”

The marketing push comes in the same month it launched its I Wish I’d Bought It With Klarna campaign in partnership with Instagram ‘funny woman’ Celeste Barber.

Its business model allows customers to buy products and pay later.

“We know that customers love the flexibility and convenience that comes with alternative payments,” continued Griffiths.

“And by delivering the best possible experience to shoppers, we’ve been able to partner with some remarkable brands and retailers in the UK.”
