Liponate® OP-26 is a medium viscosity colorless and odorless liquid that is a 26 mole propoxylated vegetable-based oleic acid. Liponate® OP-26 is an oil-soluble emollient that provides a smooth medium feel, good slip, excellent spreadability and smooth rub out, which is especially suited for sun care and skin care applications. Liponate® OP-26 is a solubilizer for powdered sunscreens such as Avobenzone and Benzophenone-3 (oxybenzone), preventing recrystallization in formulations.
