Staff affected by the decision will be offered other positions in the company
L’Oréal has announced that its Shu Uemura brand has been withdrawn from the UK market.
The withdrawal, effective immediately, will not result in job losses however those affected will be offered other positions in the company.
It follows the closure of the brand’s operations and a similar withdrawal from retail locations in the US in 2010.
L’Oréal said it had decided to pull the plug on the brand in the UK “in order to prioritise and fully focus commercial . . .
