Aerosol company Lindal Group has launched FlipClassic, an insert-free actuator with an integrated cap as an alternative to costly twist-lock actuators.
FlipClassic is crafted with its cap and actuator securely hinged; this allows for one-handed operation, which has several benefits, including solving the problem of lost caps in the travel-pack sector.
FlipClassic is a 35mm diameter actuator fitted on the mounting cap and is said to be suitable for a wide range of aluminium cans on the market.
According to Lindal, a cap-integrated actuator for PET containers is also in development.
