TerraCycle’s circular shopping platform, Loop, has expanded its US reach following a successful pilot.

Customers in every postcode across 48 states will now be able to access the service.

The site allows consumers to shop products that can be returned to the manufacturer, cleaned and reused again.

“Consumers across the country have urged us to bring Loop to them so we’ve scaled as quickly as possible to make that happen,” said Loop and TerraCycle’s founder Tom Szaky.

“With customers shopping more and more online this year, the need for our sustainable, waste-free solution has become even more important.”

Today, US shoppers can access more than 100 products across 30 brands in beauty, household and other categories.

The announcement comes three months after Loop entered the UK market, offering beauty products from brands including Nivea, Ren, Love Beauty and Planet, Molton Brown and Bulldog.

While Loop is currently available online only, the brand is preparing to launch in selected Kroger stores in 2021.
