2014 was a year of big changes for Nuco: with its new corporate identity came a commitment to focus more than ever on being a partner in innovation rather than just a contractor in production. Cosmoprof Bologna 2015 is the time for the Polish contract manufacturer of colour cosmetics to honour this promise.
The biggest part of Nuco’s presentation on the show will be recent additions to its already impressive portfolio. This will, to a great extent, be the company’s interpretation of the “sensorial experience” in colour cosmetics, which has been an increasingly significant theme in beauty for some time now. The twenty or so new formulas will represent many different textures, sensations on and after the application as well as curious looks. The company believes that, whatever the product, cosmetics are no longer just about the colour, and what matters in an equal way is how it feels to use them. Using one should evoke a certain feeling, association or sensation – something to remember the product by. And Nuco’s formulas more than deliver these experiences. Importantly, they do so with no compromises on the more standard criteria for colour cosmetics such as convenient application, excellent payoff or staying power.
To accompany the product presentation, Nuco has prepared a colour forecast for Spring / Summer 2016. Four exciting colour palettes will be presented through four different senses: all except the sight. This way the company wants to provide its customers with even more sensorial experiences. After all, seeing colour is no longer just a visual act – you can feel it, it brings sounds, tastes and smells to your mind, making for an exciting multi-dimensional experience. And this is exactly what Nuco is planning to make this year’s show in Bologna.
