Do you have knowledge and experience in the formulation, development, scale-up, manufacture and legislation of nutritional products, oral and nutritional liquid formulations, suspensions, syrups and emulsions?
Do you know your raw material availability & functionality and have a good understanding of label claims relating to nutritional supplements?
Working within the Product Development Team you will assist in the formulation and development of nutritional and general oral products, developing products within timeframes, on budget and in compliance of regulatory and customer requirements.
You will ensure all stability and product/pack claim related testing is undertaken and regularly reviewed with any adverse results reported. Undertake bench/pilot/scale-up processes, when required, and oversee full scale 1st production batch manufacture.
You will manage all customer complaints on Nutritional products manufactured and liaise with relevant departments and the customer to resolve any issues.
Having responsibility for a lab technician, you will provide guidance and structure for their day-to-day work.
You have a degree in a relevant science discipline, and knowledge of relevant and current legislation, including UK MHRA position on nutritionals and EFSA legislation in food supplements, specific knowledge of BRC and local food standards legislation, as well as knowledge and experience in pack/product compatibility of nutritional liquids.
