Hosts will be able to share presentations, surveys and virtual beauty try-ons
The beauty tech company behind virtual beauty tool YouCam Makeup, Perfect Corp, has launched a new AR training platform to help beauty brands cope with the impact of Covid-19.
As teams begin to work remotely, the new interactive YouCam A.R.T. Special Program will connect brands’ teams from different countries.
Beauty brands and retailers will be able to access the service to host weekly 60-minute meetings such as video training sessions, slideshow presentations, polls and surveys, and interact with AR beauty try-ons.
“The recent expansion of the novel coronavirus on a global scale has prompted companies to take more precautions,” said Alice Chang, CEO and founder of Perfect Corp.
“Protecting the health of employees has quickly become the highest priority with remote working arrangements becoming the new norm.
“We’re here to help beauty brands remain productive during this precarious time, by offering complimentary licenses of remote AR live training, making the employee learning process run smoothly.”
Companies will be able to access the YouCam A.R.T service free of charge until 31 July.
Chang added: “We are committed to provide the technology that can help companies adapt to these pressing changes quickly and efficiently.”
Employees will be able to access the service through their mobile devices.
