The online retailer stocks products that address environmental concerns, such as low-waste and conscious beauty

Eco-conscious online retailer Persephone Beauty is celebrating its first year in business with a website rebrand.

The e-commerce site has streamlined its selection of products and formatted its categories in order for consumers to shop by concern.

This includes low-waste, eco-friendly and conscious beauty listings.

“Natural beauty as a category comes with a lot of confusion,” the brand wrote on its website.

“We wanted to cut through that confusion and offer a handpicked edit of brands we truly love. Brands that offer innovative and results-driven products, as well as formulas that nurture the skin and planet.”

The retailer was founded by a husband and wife duo Laura and Chris Franklin-Hollier, and takes its name from the Greek goddess of vegetation Persephone.

Today, it stocks products from Neighbourhood Botanicals, UpCircle, True Skincare and Evolve Beauty.
