The new fragrance, Florence, pays homage to the Italian city’s culture and architecture

Roberto Cavalli is set to launch a new fragrance inspired by the Italian city of Florence in January.

Florence (£40.95) fragrance was created by French perfumer Marie Salamagne, who drew inspiration from the Tuscan countryside and Florence’s urban setting.

Florence is the city where Cavalli was born and where he founded his Italian house.

Israeli fashion model Shlomit Malka will be the new face of the fragrance.

The scent blends orange blossom, grapefruit and hibiscus seeds with sweet notes of blackcurrant and mandarin essence.

The dry-down is a combination of musk, amber and patchouli, a herb of the mint family.

Meanwhile the packaging is made from purple glass with decorative sides and clear bottle cap.
