The S’Able Labs co-founders promote the Coty-licensed brand’s latest Eternity Aromatic scents for men and women

Calvin Klein has hired celebrity couple and brand owners Idris and Sabrina Elba as the newest faces of its Eternity fragrance.

The campaign, shot by fashion photographer Mert Alas, shows the S’Able Labs co-founders in an intimate moment that is said to be “inspired by profound connection and the essence of desire”.

Promoting the brand’s latest Eternity flankers, Eternity Aromatic Essence for men and women, the campaign will be released across TV, digital, social and print advertisements.

“We are thrilled to be a part of the historic Calvin Klein Eternity campaign and its contemporary interpretation of an iconic and timeless love story that felt true to us,” said the Elbas in a joint statement.

“The love we have for each other as the Elbas is a united strength that powers our individual passions too.

“Eternity represents how we love, support and grow together in a modern world, so it was the perfect campaign to create together as a couple.”

The couple follow in the footsteps of model Christy Turlington Burns and her husband, actor  Edward Burns in promoting Calvin Klein’s Eternity fragrance, who fronted the scent in 2020.

Turlington Burns starred in the first ever Eternity campaign when the fragrance first launched in 1988.

Eternity Aromatic Essence for Men was created by Firmenich perfumers Daphné Bugey and Frank Voelkl and features notes of juniper berry essence with woody and gin-like facets, with a heart of cardamom and lavender and coconut said to add a gourmand twist.

The female fragrance, meanwhile, is said to be a modern twist on a floral scent with notes of lavender and sparkling coconut water and a dry down of sensual woods.

It was created by perfumers Véronique Nyberg and Julie Massé of Mane.

The fragrance bottle and outer packaging has also been updated, with a lacquered teal green glass bottle said to be inspired by gemstones, while maintaining the shape and silver cap of the original Eternity fragrance.

The latest editions join Calvin Klein’s Eternity portfolio, which includes Eternity Moment, Eternity Reflections and Eternity Summer.
