Sephora's own-brand collection lets every consumer be a Barbie girl

The campaign launch promotes a nostalgia from the Barbie brand’s heyday

Sephora has teamed up with Barbie to create a nostalgic make-up line.

The bright pink limited-edition collection is housed in a retro boombox case and includes the recently launched Outrageous Extension mascara, Stylogrpahic felt eyeliner and the Miniature Palette, plus a Barbie cap.

The new line is an 80s ‘girl-power’ theme, to celebrate the decade the iconic doll was at its most popular, which has been promoted on Sephora’s instagram.

The products will be available online in France, Spain, Italy, Czech Republic, Portugal, Romania, Greece, Germany, Switzerland and Russia.

Barbie is no stranger to the beauty industry, having already collaborated with MAC Cosmetics and a number of famous make-up artists.
