New advice for manufacturing and importers of UK cosmetics after 29 March, 2019
The European Commission has published guidance for manufacturers and importers of UK cosmetics post-Brexit.
“Preparing for the withdrawal is not just a matter for EU and national authorities but also for private parties,” it says.
“Subject to the transition period … the EU rules in the field of cosmetic products, in particular Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 November 2009 on cosmetic products, no longer apply to the United Kingdom.”
