The USA’s Personal Care Products Council (PCPC) has spoken out against the American government’s increase of additional duties from 10% to 25% on imports of beauty items that are manufactured in China.

With these higher rates of duties coming into force on 10 May, and covering a wide range of products, prices charged by US personal care product brands sourcing from China are set to rise.
