On Beauty
Estée Lauder is hoping to sign up a new generation of recruits with the creation of a new scent for its ever-popular Beautiful fragrance franchise. Beautiful Love is a modern interpretation of the original scent with a richer, deeper olfactive range that uses less intense green notes which place the emphasis on white floral notes. The result says Lauder is a creamier, more sensuous scent.
The fragrance opens with a blend of pomelo zest, cantaloupe, mango mist, white freesia, magnolia and marigold, which is underpinned by ivy leaves and pink pepper. This blends into the floral heart of Tahitian tiare, tuberose absolute, jasmine absolut and jasmine sambac, along with rose, osmanthus, carnation and black violet.
Finally, the sensuous dry down is created with a blend of white orris, vetiver, cashmaran, heliotrope, tonka bean and whipped cream accord. Sandalwood, white moss and patchouli are said to add a finishing depth to the fragrance.
The edp is packaged in a clear glass bottle with a pink gold cap, which is in keeping with the original Beautiful fragrance.
