Swedish cosmetics brand IsaDora has appointed Rasmus Helt Poulsen as its new CEO.

He replaces Jesper Johansen who took the decision to step down from the company earlier this year.

Helt Poulsen formerly served as CEO of pharmaceutical company Paranova Group and is said to have a long history working with fast-moving consumer goods companies.

“IsaDora is a strong brand with a committed organisation which I am delighted to join,” he said.

“There is a huge potential in the brand and in the category, and I look forward to working with the team to continue the journey of IsaDora following the ownership change last year.”

Helt Poulsen continued: “I am particularly excited to meet our customers and suppliers to further strengthen IsaDora’s position and fuel further growth to sustain the success of the brand.”

According to the brand, Johansen and his replacement have managed the hand-over period during the last few weeks.

Johansen said he was “extremely proud” of the brand’s achievements in the last year and that his replacement would “ensure IsaDora’s growth [...] will continue as planned.”

Today, the brand operates in 40 countries globally and stocks its products in around 5,000 stores.
