Swedish company Oriflame Cosmetics, founded in 1967, now sells beauty products direct in more than 60 countries worldwide. This year the company is launching a new brand promise: “Your dreams – our inspiration”. Cosmetics Business speaks with Johan Rosenberg, EVP of Global Marketing and R&D at Oriflame.

What is the significance of your new brand promise: “Your dreams – our inspiration”?
It’s important internally to give all employees an understanding of what we want to be: a company that is listening to its customers and consumers, letting them become the inspiration in our activities. Through doing that people are going to fulfil their dreams, both from a beauty and a business point of view. We know that the biggest wish in people’s lives is to have security in life, and improve one’s life for oneself and one’s family. Also, looking and feeling attractive is important.
