The Swedish cosmetics group Oriflame has said its first quarter 2008 group sales are well above expectations in most markets following successful product launches, timing of catalogues and the Easter holiday. The company has decided to increase its sales forecast for 2008 as a whole to "well above 10%" in local currency terms. The operating margin is expected to improve despite problems with exchange rates.
