Oriflame to expand into nutriceuticals

Swedish cosmetics company Oriflame is today announcing plans to move into the nutritional wellness sector. The company will begin with a test launch in Western Europe in the fourth quarter of 2008, rolling this out in 2009-10.

Swedish cosmetics company Oriflame is today announcing plans to move into the nutritional wellness sector. The company will begin with a test launch in Western Europe in the fourth quarter of 2008, rolling this out in 2009-10.

The announcement is being made at the Orflame’s Capital Market Day in Stockholm where the company will provide an overview of the group’s strategy and present a regional review and future market opportunities.

Oriflame says it aims to achieve annual sales growth of around 10% in local currency and to reach 15% operating margin in 2009. The expansion into nutriceuticals is included in current outlooks and forecasts.
