US luxury hair care brand Frédéric Fekkai has been purchased by P&G.

US luxury hair care brand Frédéric Fekkai has been purchased by P&G.

The company, founded by stylist Frédéric Fekkai, produces lines of shampoos, conditioners and hair treatments, and also operates salons in high-status locations including Beverly Hills, California.

Fekkai is sold in US-based luxury stores like Neiman Marcus, Saks and Nordstrom. The purchase gives P&G a foothold in the prestige hair care channel.

P&G didn't reveal the financial terms of the deal.
