Parlux Fragrances to develop premium scents for US clothing company Ecko

US fragrance manufacturer Parlux Fragrances has signed a global licensing agreement with US clothing company Marc Ecko Enterprises, to develop and market a line of prestige fragrances for men and women.


US fragrance manufacturer Parlux Fragrances has signed a global licensing agreement with US clothing company Marc Ecko Enterprises, to develop and market a line of prestige fragrances for men and women.

Parlux said it plans to launch the initial men’s scent in Autumn 2009 with the hope that it will be distributed through 2,000 doors in the US. A global roll out will follow after this.

Neil Katz, ceo of Parlux Fragrances, says of the deal: ”With the Marc Ecko addition to our fragrance portfolio, Parlux Fragrances will target yet another consumer group. We see the company’s appeal as worldwide and a key part of our strategic plan”.

Marc Ecko Enterprises was created in 1993 and manufactures clothing and accessories. The company’s estimated global retail sales turnover was $1.5bn in 2007.
