PCHi returning to Mumbai in 2007
After enjoying a successful event in Mumbai this week, Reed Exhibitions has announced that it's recently acquired Personal Care and Household Ingredients (PCHi) show will return to India next year.
The Reed team made the announcement as the show finished and have indicated Mumbai is the preferred city to host the 2007 edition.
Held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel from 14-15th November, the 2006 event was widely acclaimed by exhibitors, conference delegates and attendees alike.
The opening conference session was organised by the Indian Society of Cosmetic Chemists (ISCC) and speakers drew attention to the massive growth predicted for the C&T market in India. These predictions were backed up by reports of a high-level of serious business transactions and orders on the floor of the exhibition.
“We have been delighted with the success of this year's event,” said Richard Hesk, PCHi exhibition director. “Many people have commented that this is the right time to come to India as the market is reaching a point where significant growth can be made.”
Reed acquired PCHi, along with Cosmetic and Household Ingredients (CHi) and Personal Care Ingredients Asia (PCIA), from Step Exhibitions in August this year, adding to it's established flagship exhibition in-cosmetics.
