Plasticum given green light for Berry Plastics UK

Dutch packaging group Plasticum has reached an agreement with US based Berry Plastics Corporation for the acquisition of Berry Plastics UK. Details of the agreement have not been released.


Dutch packaging group Plasticum has reached an agreement with US based Berry Plastics Corporation for the acquisition of Berry Plastics UK. Details of the agreement have not been released.

The acquisition will strengthen Plasticum's aerosol and spray cap business and provide additional presence in the UK. The supplier anticipates the transaction will lead to a normalisation of market conditions and a more balanced supply and demand in the UK market.
