Poppy Organic harnesses the power of birch bark

Poppy Organic is a new skin care range that utilises the potent skin caring properties of birch bark extract in it products. The ingredient was chosen to be central to the range as it is claimed to posess anti-infammatory properties and help address actinic keratosis (sun induced skin damage) and some cancers. The range was inspired by founders Julie and Andrew Coleman's visit to Spain where they discovered an old Andalucian skin treatment containing birch bark extract.

The 12 sku range features products for face and body including cream for sun damaged skin, an eye serum, cleanser, hand cream and body balm. All the products contain a blend of orgnanic oils and butters and are free of pesticide residue, synthetic fragrances, colourans, petrochemicals and parabens.

The packaging follows a similar earth-friendly theme, with outer packaging made from recycled card and a return, refill and resuse incentive to encourage customers to reduce the amount of packaging consumed.
