From 1 June basic registration fees will range from E1,600 for substances produced in volumes below ten tonnes, to E31,000 for those above 1,000 tonnes. Discounts of 90% will be available for micro-enterprises, 60% for small companies and 30% for medium-sized companies.
Also, a 25% reduction will be available for businesses that cooperate on registrations. Lower registration fees will be charged for registering intermediate chemicals. The fees will be payable to the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA), in Helsinki.
