Clive Christian’s fragrance ‘No. 1’ has officially been named the world’s most expensive perfume by Guinness World Records.
The perfume, which costs about $2350 for a one-ounce bottle, uses rare and precious ingredients from around the world with no regard for cost. Its top notes are lime and white peach, with heart notes of rose, jasmine, ylang ylang and green orchid and base notes of Tahitian vanilla and ancient Indian sandalwood.
The bottle features a neck made of 24-karat gold-plated sterling silver topped with a single diamond solitaire.
A few of the fragrance’s celebrity followers include Elton John, Katie Holmes and the Beckhams.
