Reed rebrands PCIA, CHi and PCHi shows under in-cosmetics banner

Reed Exhibitions is rebranding its recently acquired personal care and home care ingredients exhibitions under its in-cosmetics banner, PCIA, CHi and PCHi were acquired from Step Exhibitions in August 2006.


Reed Exhibitions is rebranding its recently acquired personal care and home care ingredients exhibitions under its in-cosmetics banner, PCIA, CHi and PCHi were acquired from Step Exhibitions in August 2006.

The announcement comes on the eve of PCIA 2007, which takes place in China this week (13-15 March). PCIA will retain its branding for this year's event but will change to in-cosmetics Asia for 2008 when the show visits Bangkok (4-6 November 2008). Changing the time of year for this show places it at a more manageable distance from the original in-cosmetics, this year being held in Paris from 17-19 April and next year in Amsterdam from 15-17 April 2008.

The first show to run under the new banner will be in-cosmetics Eastern Europe (formerly CHi). This will be held in Moscow (25-26 October 2007) and will be co-located with Intercharm. Following the success of PCHi in India last year it was decided to return to Mumbai this year and this will now be as in-cosmetics India (20-21 November 2007).

The PCHi brand will return to China where it launched in 2005. It will become an annual event within China and will be managed by Reed Sinopharm Exhibitions, with brand management and international sales support from Reed Exhibitions UK.
