RevitaLash launches hair thickener

Athena Cosmetics, manufacturer of the eyelash enhancing cosmetic RevitaLash is turning its attention to thinning hair with the launch of Hair by RevitaLash.

The new hair conditioner is said to fortify and strengthen fine, thinning hair to leave it looking thicker and fuller, according to Athena, and uses the same principle as its eyelash conditioner.

The foam is said to have noticeably improved the appearance of test subjects’ hair in after two weeks of daily use and is suitable for use on natural, coloured and chemically treated hair.

“We are delighted to bring another quality cosmetic product to the marketplace that we expect will be as popular with consumers are RevitaLash,” commented Michael Brinkenhoff, founder, Athena Cosmetics.

The news comes as Botox manufacturer Allergan has announced it is to launch a prescription drug to treat the medical disease hypotrichosis. The condition is said to leave sufferers with abnormally short eyelashes and the new drug will be available from physicians.
