Gellux Nails increases gel nail polish accessibility

Salon System has launched Gellux Nails, said to be a hybrid between traditional nail polish and salon gels. The polish, which lasts for up to 15 days, dries in just 30 seconds when used with an LED light. Unlike traditionally expensive models, the Gellux LED Pro-Lamp costs £95 and the polishes themselves are priced at £11.95 plus VAT, making the system particularly suitable for beauticians working across a range of disciplines – who may not wish to invest in pricier nail systems – and students, while the system’s compact size means it is ideal for mobile nail technicians and for use in fashion shows, or the entertainment industry.

Gellux Gel Polish comes in 24 shades including pearlised variants and can be used on natural or false nails. Fast Bond and Clear Base & Top Gel products are also available.

The brand has also teamed up with make-up artist Liz Martins to create a range of false lashes for professional and consumer use. The line of natural hair products includes four Enhance lashes, two Kits featuring lashes that can be layered for dramatic effect and two Select packs, containing individual lashes of varying densities in short plus medium, or medium length options.
