SID MEDICOS studies demonstrate LemonBottle benefits for cellulite appearance, hydration and radiance

Global beauty and aesthetics company SID MEDICOS has completed clinical studies on three key products from its LemonBottle brand, demonstrating product-specific skin benefits and low irritation potential

  • Clinical studies conducted on three products: Ampoule Solution, Skin Booster and REBOOT
  • Results demonstrate improvements in the appearance of cellulite, hydration, radiance, skin texture, elasticity and soothing
  • Skin Booster and REBOOT classified as low irritation products in studies on normal and sensitive skin

The studies covered three LemonBottle products: Ampoule Solution, Skin Booster and REBOOT. Conducted by OATC Skin Clinical Trials Centre, a specialist skin testing institution, the studies assessed a range of benefits based on the characteristics of each product, including improvements in cellulite, skin hydration, radiance, tone, texture, elasticity and soothing.

Ampoule Solution demonstrated statistically significant improvements in key skin parameters related to cellulite after four weeks of use with an MTS roller. The study evaluated the thigh area of 33 women aged 20 to 50. Skin surface roughness, the length of the boundary between the dermis and subcutaneous fat layer, and cellulite grades based on expert visual assessment all decreased compared with baseline.

In a clinical study in which Skin Booster was used with an MTS roller, skin hydration increased by 45.44% and radiance by 17.78% after three days. Statistically significant improvements were observed across seven skin parameters, including improvements in skin brightness, density and elasticity, as well as reduced roughness and fine lines around the eyes.

REBOOT also demonstrated significant improvements when used with an MTS roller. After three days, skin hydration increased by 71.17% and radiance by 27.82%. Redness decreased by 7.51% and skin roughness by 9.24%, with statistically significant improvements confirmed across seven parameters, including skin brightness, density and elasticity.

The low irritation potential of Skin Booster and REBOOT were also evaluated. Skin patch tests were conducted on 30 adults with normal skin and 34 adults with sensitive skin. Both products recorded a skin irritation index of 0.00 and were classified as low irritation for both normal and sensitive skin.

A SID MEDICOS spokesperson said:

These clinical studies are significant because they objectively demonstrate the skin-improving effects benefits of each LemonBottle product in line with its specific characteristics and intended use. We will continue to build scientific evidence through research, development and clinical studies, while expanding a product portfolio that global consumers and beauty professionals can trust.
