Step Exhibitions launches Making Cosmetics
New event covers cosmetics from concept to end product
Step Exhibitions is to launch a new trade event targeting the manufacturing process of cosmetics from the formulating bench to the consumer. Making Cosmetics, which takes place at the NMM Exhibition Centre in Birmingham from 28 – 29 March, 2012, will provide an exhibition, seminars, technical presentations and a problem solving clinic for anyone sourcing, manufacturing or outsourcing personal care products in the UK.
The event is said to be suitable for brand owners, formulators, importers, chemists, engineers, marketing executives, business development managers and personal care consultants, according to Step, while the free seminars will cover areas including new product development, compliance and regulations, scale-up and manufacture, marketing and branding, risk assessment and packaging.
The exhibition will enable companies to present new technologies and services, while the TechFocus presentations will offer an in-depth look at exhibitor’s latest products. Finally the Total Solutions Centre, will feature 11 one-hour sessions where consultants will offer their expertise to delegates. Areas to be covered include natural product development, sampling, product safety and colour cosmetics manufacture.
